How CollabKare will integrate with ABDM

Every CollabKare application is being designed to work within the ABDM ecosystem — from patient registration to health record exchange. The capabilities below are on our integration roadmap.

ABHA Verification & Linkage

Planned: create and verify ABHA IDs directly from KarePractice, KareMD, or KareHospital during patient registration, linked to KareID for seamless identity management across the ecosystem.

Unified Health Interface (UHI)

Planned: make your practice discoverable on UHI so patients can find and book with you from participating platforms. (UHI/HIE-CM integration is on the roadmap.)

Patient Health Records (PHR)

Planned: upload prescriptions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and lab results to ABDM's PHR system so patients can view records securely in their Personal Health Record locker.

FHIR-Native Data Exchange

Available today: all health data in CollabKare is structured in FHIR R4 — the global interoperability standard — providing the foundation for ABDM-compliant exchange as integration completes.

Unified Health Interface (UHI)

UHI is one of the core foundations of ABDM. Just as UPI enables you to send money from GooglePay to a PhonePe account, UHI enables patients to discover and consult doctors across any participating platform.

Once our UHI integration is certified, your practice will be discoverable to patients searching on UHI-compliant apps — they will be able to find your clinic, view availability, and book consultations directly. This capability is on our active roadmap.

Patient Health Records (PHR)

PHR is like a Digital Locker where patients can safely store their medical records. While only the patient can access their PHR, CollabKare is building the ability for providers to upload health records, prescriptions, diagnoses, and treatment plans to ABDM's PHR — a critical component of India's digital health infrastructure.
